How to keep a free backup proxy subscription in Clash / v2rayN when your own node gets blocked
If your own node is blocked, import a Roxi backup in Clash Verge or v2rayN and use a fallback group.

When your own proxy node is blocked, you do not have to rebuild a setup from scratch. Keep a second, free backup subscription already imported in Clash Verge or v2rayN, and put it in a fallback group so the client tries your node first and only switches when that node fails.
Roxi is a simple backup for that job. The free tier includes 30 minutes per day, which is enough to test the import and to cover a short outage. If you need a longer window, VIP is $3.57 for 30 days with 200GB, and SVIP is $7.14 for 30 days with 500GB. New users also get an exclusive offer plus a free trial. This guide uses one subscription URL from Roxi and does not replace your own nodes.
Copy the subscription URL
1. Sign in at the Roxi dashboard: https://roxi.cc
2. Find the subscription link for Clash or v2ray. It is usually labeled copy subscription or subscription URL.
3. Copy the full URL. Treat it like a password: anyone who has it can use your quota.
4. If you are new, claim the new-user exclusive offer and start the free trial before you decide on VIP or SVIP.
Keep this URL. You will paste the same link into Clash Verge and into v2rayN.
Clash Verge
1. Open Clash Verge and go to Profiles.
2. Choose New or Import from URL, then paste the subscription URL.
3. Update the profile and wait until the node list finishes downloading.
4. Leave your own subscription in place. Name the new profile so you can tell the backup apart, for example Roxi backup.
5. Do not set the backup as your only profile yet. The fallback group in the next section decides when it is used.
If the profile fails to update, check that the URL is complete, then update again. Still stuck? Email support@roxi.cc.
v2rayN
1. Open v2rayN.
2. Open the subscription group and choose subscription settings, or add a subscription.
3. Paste the same subscription URL, name it Roxi backup, and save.
4. Update the subscription and confirm the new nodes show up under that group.
5. Do not delete your existing servers. Your own node stays the one you connect with by default.
Fallback group
A fallback group checks your own node first. If the health check fails, the client moves to a Roxi node. When your node recovers, traffic can return to it.
In Clash Verge:
1. Edit the profile, or add a merge snippet, so you have one proxy group with type fallback.
2. List your own node first and a Roxi node second.
3. Set a health-check URL and a short interval so a dead node is detected quickly.
4. Select that fallback group as the proxy you actually use.
5. Watch the group: it should stay on your node while the node is up, and move to Roxi only after the check fails.
In v2rayN the same idea is manual if you do not use a custom routing rule:
1. Keep your own server selected for normal use.
2. If it times out or the site will not load, switch the active server to a node from the Roxi backup subscription.
3. Switch back when your own node works again.
Because the subscription is already imported, the switch is one click. You do not hunt for a new link during an outage.
