Before cutting a circle skirt you need only two measurements: your waist and the length you want. From those you get the waist radius, the cut radius with seam allowance, the hem radius, the waistband size and the fabric needed for your fabric width. A free circle skirt calculator with printable PDF pattern does that work for you in inches or centimetres, and it can give you a tiled 1:1 PDF pattern to print at home.

Not every skirt is a full circle. For a lighter hem, the half and quarter circle skirt calculator covers half and quarter circles. If you prefer pleats, use the knife, box and inverted pleat calculator to work out the spacing for knife, box and inverted pleats. For a fuller look, the tiered skirt calculator for gathered tiers helps you plan gathered tiers.

When it is time to buy, the fabric yardage calculator for sewing projects shows how much fabric a project takes at your fabric width, so you do not over- or under-buy. If you want to understand the reasoning behind the numbers, read circle skirt math explained.

Everything is free with no sign-up, and the tools are available in several languages.
